The Just The Facts teaching methodology has been taught to hundreds of school teachers. With many many groups having experienced our class, we have refined and streamlined the materials. Thanks Teachers! We would not be here without your great feedback and support. Recent comments: "This is a fun way to master the facts while keeping everyone engaged and everyone on their level. I set a timer for l5 minutes each day. When the timer goes off I always hear moans because they just don't want to stop." Elizabeth Machalec
Quotes from kids:
Everyday in my second grade classroom, for 15 to 30 minutes, my students are eager, excited, and excelling in learning their math facts. "Just the Facts" is a wonderful, hands-on, tool to learning the fact families, and heips students see the connection between addition and subtraction. If your class is struggling with math facts, then give this program a try. You will be amazed!!! Leatha Zamzow
I am still plugging away at it and still testing the kids each day the Just the Facts way. I am able to go over the ones the students miss when they do not master the test with 100% accuracy when they come to lab. There is a tremendous difference between the students who use Just The Facts everyday in class and the students who don't. The students who use your program are much more advanced in their learning compared to the students who are still counting on their fingers and have no idea how to fill in missing numbers using algebraic thinking. The teachers who use your program are really getting it. The first and second graders are zooming. The Kindergarten teachers are doing a great job on the basic foundation and I think next year's first graders will benefit greatly. On the intermediate campuses, we are using all different manipulatives to build the the number sentences and writing word problems. We are still drawing the fact families to help them see the relationship between the numbers. Joan Jaroszwski
"Just the Facts" is an empowering tool for my children to have been given. The greatest difference it has made for my children in their math skills is knowing the names or parts of a math equation. They understand how to interpret an equation or word problem and what part they are working towards whether it be an addend or the sum. This is a huge hump for children to get over and it's exciting to see it happen at the early age of 6 or 7. There is realness to their memorization of facts. Marty Keil
As a parent it was very difficult to watch my son struggle with math. Christina Havron was able to quickly diagnose what he did not know and go to work teaching him his facts. His confidence soared and so did his math skills. I recommend the "Just the Facts" program to any teacher; it is a quick way to take students from where they are to success in math.
